Crazy cheering, the silence of disbelief, the joy of winning, and hope for coming stronger next time – It was all part of the IQ City UWSB INTRA COLLEGE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2022 that took place recently at Axis Mall, Roof-top. 14 teams contended to lift the winners’ trophy. Each team name was chosen based on the shades and hues of the rainbow depicting and signifying different moods and emotions of the players. The final match was between UWSB BLUE and UWSB RED wherein BLUE came out victorious(4-1).
One special match was organised between two girls’ teams UWSB ORANGE-Girls and UWSB WHITE. Orange won the match with a final score of 2-0. Apart from the Winner’s Trophy, individual players of the Champion and Runners-Up team were awarded Gold and Silver medals. Thanks to UNISPORTS CLUB of IQ City UWSB for planning and organising such a great event so meticulously.
