We are now an AICTE approved Institution! Both our BBA (Honours) and MBA courses, affiliated to Vidyasagar University, have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The AICTE approval indicates that IQ City UWSB offers courses that are of high quality and follow curriculums that meet the standards of the National Education Policy, 2020. The Council has also recognised that the institute has the required infrastructure, student-faculty ratio and cadre ratio that it stipulates.
To get the approval, IQ City UWSB underwent a rigorous review process in which expert teams from AICTE minutely examined our admission process, curriculum design, faculty qualifications, facilities, infrastructure and student support.
In the coming days, the institute will undergo a regular monitoring and evaluation by the AICTE so that the standards are maintained.
The AICTE approval will give more confidence to the recruiters that the institute has met the required standards in academics and in preparing students for the industry. Many top companies recruit only from AICTE-approved institutes. Government organizations and universities also prefer candidates from AICTE-approved institutes. So, the approval opens new horizons for our students.
The approval also makes us more responsible to continuously update our curriculum to meet AICTE’s compliance norms as well as be agile to the changing trends of the business environment.
As part of the AICTE universe, the approval gives us the opportunity to avail the support that the Council provides to its approved institutes. The Council conducts numerous workshops, seminars and platforms for sharing of best practices on grooming students in innovation, entrepreneurship and cutting-edge technology. We will take full advantage of these learning opportunities for our faculty and students.
