Taking forth its legacy of academic excellence, IQ City United World School of Business, Kolkata organized this year’s BBA induction for the BBA (Hons.) batch 2025-29 on its campus. The Induction Programme began with the ceremonial watering of a sapling and a soulful mantra gaan ‘sangachhadhwam sanbadadhwam’ by one of our students.
This was followed by a powerful and thought-provoking address by Mr. Biswajit Chakraborty, Registrar, IQ City UWSB that inspired the aspiring business leaders to dream bigger and lead with purpose. He also introduced the esteemed faculty members for the BBA (Hons.) course and discussed the unique pedagogical approach that is being followed at IQ City UWSB to prepare students for their corporate career.
The successful alumni of any B-school are its backbone and a testament to its excellence. And with a vast alumni network of accomplished individuals in different domains, IQ City UWSB is no exception. As it is customary, we were delighted to invite and welcome two of our such illustrious alumni.
Mr. Ankit Kr. Singh, Manager, East Sales & Marketing, Asian Plastowares Pvt ltd. (IQ City UWSB Batch – 2016 -2018) emphasized that in this rapidly changing and unpredictable landscape, it is imperative for individuals to continuously upgrade their skills to survive and thrive. The speaker urged new joiners to focus on lifelong learning and adaptability, as these qualities will be essential for success in the evolving professional world.
Mr. Vishal Pandey, Territory Sales In-charge – HORECA, Amul (GCMMF) (IQ City UWSB Batch 2018- 2020) highlighted the importance for students to develop a broad understanding across various disciplines. According to him, having knowledge of all key areas will not only make students more versatile but also better equipped to succeed in today’s integrated professional environment.
The induction programme concluded on a high note, setting the tone for an enriching academic journey ahead.
